We have a wonderful resource for garden aquatics located relatively nearby – Lilypons. They have a huge property, much of which is slowly being reclaimed by Mother Nature. However, what they do have remaining is always interesting to drop by and maybe photograph, depending on the blooming season of the aquatic plants that they have on display. On this occasion, I spotted a tiny baby gosling that got separated from its mother, and it was doing its very best to try and vanish from the sight of all potential predators. You can see it in the corner shadow of the plant pond above.
