A Little Oasis

Tiny water hole – Lander, Wyoming

We drove through southwestern Wyoming during one of our many road trips – headed for parts unknown – when we discovered the Red Canyon area, a gorgeous slash of red through khaki tans, browns, and dusty greens. Cindy stayed at the scenic view pullout with the rental car, while I explored some of the area on foot with my camera. Among the many things I found was this tiny little watering hole, which is hardly enough for anything beyond birds and other very small critters.
