South Along the Madison Range

Madison Valley – Cameron, Montana

Montana is one of my all-time favorite places. Even though my hometown is nearby Idaho Falls, southwest Montana is actually a bigger draw for me – simply because of the gentle topography, soothing views, crisp air, and big sky expansiveness. It also helps that southwest Montana isn’t quite as parched as southern Idaho – which is technically a high desert. Every time I see this photo, the mountains call for me.
