In the fall of 2017, we finally reached a road trip destination that we had long desired to visit – the Wind River Range in western Wyoming. Unlike many of the other rugged destinations within the Rocky Mountains, the Wind River Range is virtually untouched by paved roads and high-end real estate development, resulting in a region filled with glorious scenery, critters, and pure nature. We only spent a few days here, but definitely plan on coming back for an extended visit.
